Ottawa's First Accessibility Unconference was held on December 2nd, 2011. The turnout was great, the discussions were amazing and people are already thinking about a follow-up event in 2012.

Prior the A11yYOW Unconference, we're hoping that people will also register for the City of Ottawa's AccessAbility Day 2011 on December 9th. All participants are asked to register in advance by December 1 by calling 3-1-1 (TTY: 613-580-2401), so we can't just wait to announce this at the end of the Unconference.
We're excited to announce that the registration for A11yYOW is now open. Please register to get updates on the conference leading up to the December 2nd event.
There will be no registration fee, but we need a good sense of numbers so that we can ensure that we have enough coffee & food for the day.
Please encourage other accessibility professionals & advocates to sign up. This will be a great opportunity to discuss the AODA & efforts to achieve WCAG 2.0 AA compliance.
